Although it didn’t quite hit the rumored $5 billion, Yuga Labs rounded off its headline-grabbing week with the announcement of a $450 million seed round at a $4 billion valuation.

For those counting — me — that takes total sector funding in 2022 to-date to $2.6 billion, compared to $4.2 billion for the whole of 2021.
