It’s been six months since I decided to start writing a daily Substack about blockchain games.
So is the glass half full or empty?
Certainly for me it’s been a positive experience to get up much earlier than I used to and fore-load the day rather than attempting to pack everything into the evening — my previous modus operandi.
In terms of whether I’m actually writing anything of worth, perhaps I’m not the best person to judge. Certainly I think I’ve thought about more subjects more deeply than I otherwise would have done, although whether that’s resulted in clarity of expression is harder to ascertain.
My greatest takeaway, however, is the benefit of having to deal with the day-to-day perturbations of the blockchain sector. Some days I don’t have a clue what I’m writing about almost until I’ve finished whereas sometimes the email pretty much writes itself.
Being forced to try to fit such activities into some sort of logical structure is definitely a challenge, but one I continue to enjoy.
So here’s to the next six months…
And in the meatime, in case you missed them, these are my five most popular emails to-date.
