It’s time for another of Jon’s data 🧪 experiments: check out the WIP at Everything Blockchain Gaming.
Here’s the spark: it’s inspired by making Premiere League tables in which you rank teams in terms of absolute points not just equal ranking, which gives a much better sense of past performance, and future probabilities.
Of course, my mind immediately turned to blockchain game tokens, which resulted in the following, in which tokens are ranked by market cap — the axis is $, millions — in terms of current circulating supply. The number in the bracket is the percentage of circulating supply to total token supply.
The obvious takeaway is just how dominant Immutable’s IMX token in gaming; currently 29% of the whole sector value.
Check it out — and more — at Everything Blockchain Gaming, and smash the feedback form if you have something to say.
