It’s been a good week for Immutable.
The SEC dropped its investigation into the Australian blockchain gaming company, which is finally seeing some solid activity from games on its zkEVM gaming infrastructure.
Most notably, the IMT token from its most popular title — mobile idle RPG Immortal Rising 2 — went live, with players over the past six months finally getting their airdrop allocation.
I got about $1-worth of IMT (53 tokens), which I promptly staked at a current rate of 273%. Hey, it’s free money.
More exciting, however, has been the launch of pixel MMORPG RavenQuest, which I’ve been dipping into and enjoying over the past 14 days, although whether that’s despite or because of its old school demands and pacing remains to be seen.
It’s certainly a slow burn but with key elements of its peer-to-peer economy going live today — including in-game activation of its QUEST token (TGE to follow) — it looks like it’s building a solid audience of players.

In other Immutable-related news, BoomLand has announced it’s taking over the future development of failed mobile shooter Cantina Royale, no doubt transitioning it from its current deployment on MultiversX to Immutable.
In addition, BoomLand is keeping Cantina Royale’s playerbase happy by airdropping them NFTs for its Hunters On-Chain game, as well as allowing them in future to convert their CRT tokens to BOOM tokens at the ratio of 7:1.
And finally, Immutable’s maddest game TOKYO BEAST looks like it will be live through app stores on 12th May, at least that’s what its expected release date on the App Store says.
As a reminder, TOKYO BEAST is a web2 mobile RPG from Japanese companies Cygames and Gumi, featuring high concept web3 elements via a separate web interface, including NFT burn-and-reroll features, breeding, wagering and a $1 million esports tournament at launch.

GUN Goes Live news
As expected, Binance’s Launchpad for Gunzilla’s GUN token has been popular with over $3 billion-worth of USDC, USDT and BNB tokens locked as users compete to get an allocation of the 400 million tokens available.
GUN’s total supply is 10 billion, so 4% will be distributed when the Launchpad ends on Monday 31st May, with a further 2% going live to support liquidity.
As for thoughts around price, the obvious anchor is a $1 billion fully diluted value, which would price GUN at $0.1, and see it launch at a market cap of around $60 million.
But it looks like most people are more optimistic.

The Sandbox Alpha 5 Launch news
More details are emerging about The Sandbox’s six-week-long Alpha Season 5, which will include branded experiences from Jurassic World, Teletubbies, Deepak Chopra, Atari, Hellboy (2019), Love Island, Care Bears, Terminator: Dark Fate and Attack on Titan.
The season will also feature ten new racing games developed by The Sandbox Internal Studios, and community-created games with enhanced features including the new platforming, racing, and multiplayer capabilities provided in the Game Maker v0.11 software.
All this activity will be backed with more than $1 million of rewards unlocked through a free battle pass, plus there will be various wearable and branded NFTs.
And the free Jurassic Raptor helmet is still available through pre-registration.
Pirate Nations Treasure news
Fully onchain game Pirate Nations is wrapping up its final season of Booty Points on 31st March. Running back over the past 12 months, the three seasons have encouraged players to grind out various ways of collecting points through gameplay, NFT collections and social referrals for airdrops of the PIRATE token.
Season 3 rewards will only be available for holders of a Founder Pirate NFT or an active VIP pass, who are also either ranked Ruby in Booty Points or have 10 million Collector Points or 4 million Social Points. A high bar, but I made it!
Moving forward, the game will switch to what it calls “quick-sprint events”.
